Are you the type of person who likes to plan ahead? Do you, a friend or a family member have a life long illness that you know will take your life one day? If this is the case, plan everything ahead for yourself or your loved ones. It won’t be easy to do but planning ahead will make things easier than having to rush through things when the time actually comes.
Cover the Cost Ahead of Time
Paying for the funeral ahead of time will make things a little easier on you. Like mentioned before, it won’t be easy no matter what you do but if the funeral and memorial is already paid for that will at least be a load off your chest. If you can either make arrangements to pay for it ahead of time or pay for it in full ahead of time.
Know their Wishes
Knowing your loved ones wishes ahead of time will make things somewhat easier for the planning of the memorial. Make sure there is a will and you know what is in it so you know what they want to be done with their memorial.
Choose Flowers or Donations
Would you or your loved ones rather have flowers or donations made in their name? Find out and do what they want to make the planning of the memorial a bit easier. Having flowers is a nice touch for any memorial but having donations made in their name is even better.
Make it your loved ones
Make the memorial all about the loved one. Don’t let others try to take over. You know what they wanted now put that into action and do everything they asked of you for their memorial. Now if you don’t know what they wanted in case they were taken before their time, do what you think is best for them and things will be a bit easier for you when planning a memorial.
